Project Overview :

With a prime position in the University campus, the dark blue rendered facades of the 10 year old ATI building looked tired and had been subject to many years of UV degradation, with varying levels of fading. The lack of any real maintenance on the façade meant that a sensitive approach was required, initially to release the soiling without causing damage to the render.

Once the façade had been successfully cleaned, the project team decided that a minimum of two coats would be applied, helping to create uniformity and ensuring maximum protection for the future.

The uplift in colour and results achieved at the ATI building have been well received, with our team returning to the University in the summer of 2019 to once again support them in repainting two further rendered buildings, continuing to help restore and protect the future of their assets – creating a great learning environment for students and lecturers alike.
